Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA seeks an experienced EP Lab Technician to support the electrophysiology suite. You will assist physicians during EP studies, device implantations and ablations, prepare rooms, and help ensure patient safety with detailed monitoring and sterile technique.

This role requires flexibility for nights and extended shifts in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. Qualified candidates have an associate degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT registration, BLS/ACLS, and

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers, software, and PACS/reader tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse teams.
• Advanced EKG recognition and interpretation skills.
• Ability to work under high concentration during procedures and in emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Assist the EP team with patient setup and pre/post-procedure tasks.
• Maintain sterile technique during implantation of cardiac devices.
• Operate EP equipment and radiographic fluoroscopy to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient vitals and radiation dose to ensure safety.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and compliance with standards.
