Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an Emergency/EP lab professional to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias in the electrophysiology lab. You will support procedures, prepare rooms, and help with device implantations using EP-specific equipment while ensuring patient and staff safety.

The role requires an associate degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT registration, and the ability to work flexible hours, with preferred candidates holding a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences required.
• ARRT registration required; BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in patient setup and pre/post procedure tasks.
• Maintain sterile technique during device implantation.
• Operate EP hardware and imaging equipment (EP Hemodynamic, PRUCKA, fluoroscopy).
• Monitor radiographic images and ensure safe radiation delivery.
• Support professional development and credential maintenance.
