Job summary

Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) team is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide engineering, sales, and clinical support for EP products. You will engage physicians, healthcare professionals and sales staff, delivering trainings and case coverage as needed.

The role requires a Biomedical Engineering background, EP product certification readiness, and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Abbott offers growth, benefits, and opportunities in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related healthcare experience.
• Requires ability to become certified on EP products.
• Minimum 6 months in Clinical Specialist position.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (internal or external with industry competitor).
• Demonstrates ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products responding to field inquiries.
• Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales Representatives.
• Maintain knowledge of developments in EP products, regulations, and market trends.
