Job summary

Abbott EP is seeking engineering and clinical professionals to support electrophysiology products across clinical and commercial settings. You will provide training, regional procedure coverage in EP labs, and act as a clinical interface between physicians and the business to share product expertise.

The role emphasizes independent work, ongoing development, and collaboration with sales and educational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Vendor credentialing requirements (including vaccination for COVID-19) may apply; advise HR for accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff.
• Perform work with a high degree of independence and apply best practices to execute processes.
• Plan, organize and perform work while monitoring performance and reporting status to management.
• Build foundational knowledge of EP through structured training with hands-on learning.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage in an Electrophysiology lab and/or operating room setting.
• Serve as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.,
• Demonstrate ability to build credible clinical relationships and share product expertise accordingly.
• Demonstrate command of EP products, including technical details, software utilization and capabilities.
• Support EP Sales Representatives and coordinate regional training seminars.
• Participate in clinical studies/data collection; assist in live procedure coverage.
• Troubleshoot and lead or support new product in-service trainings and demonstrations to physicians, nurses, and sales reps.
• Continuously develop engineering, sales and technical skills aligned with territory strategy.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and market trends; provide feedback to inform strategy.
• Occasionally travel for in-person instruction and live procedure coverage.
