Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL, seeks an Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a focused EP team caring for complex rhythm disorders. The APP will manage inpatient and outpatient care alongside EP physicians and a dedicated APP team in a high-acuity cardiology setting.

The role emphasizes development of advanced EP skills through structured on-the-job training, with four 10-hour shifts weekly and a few Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of practice.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• 1–2 years APP experience in Cardiology/Electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for arrhythmias and EP-related conditions.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and therapies.
• Document in the electronic medical record in a timely, accurate manner.
• Collaborate with EP physicians and a team of APPs for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement, education, and onboarding activities.
