Qualifications

• Illinois Controlled Substance License before hire.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• 1–2 years APP/Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for cardiology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team; refer as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coding/billing compliant.
• Participate in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice as privileges permit.
