Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a temporary 1st shift Electronics Test Technician to support SRCTec Depot operations in Syracuse, NY. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic warfare and radar systems and sub-assemblies, including RF, digital processing, and power components.

Responsibilities include set-up and use of automated/manual test equipment, diagnosing complex issues, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Education as above; 0+ years in related electronics environment or 5+ years with high school/trade training.
• Experience with electronics testing and/or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with test equipment and adherence to industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established test procedures and production processes to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Set up and utilize automated and manual test equipment (DMMs, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes).
• Diagnose and correct the most complex system and equipment problems.
• Inspect and identify faulty components on circuit card assemblies.
• Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures of circuit card assemblies down to the component level.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to aid in troubleshooting.
• Perform solder rework of surface-mounted components on circuit card assemblies as needed.
• Accurately document test results, troubleshooting processes, and repair actions.
• Facilitate the manufacturing and production process through testing proprietary systems and sub-assemblies as needed.
