Job summary

SRCTec, LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Electronics Technician to support manufacturing operations. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies and components, including RF, digital processing, and power components.

You will read schematics, use test equipment, perform SMT solder rework, document results, and assist teammates in testing complex boards in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or military/technical schooling with 6+ years in electronics.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
• Ability to set up and use standard test equipment per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to test procedures to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Set up and use automated and manual test equipment.
• Diagnose and correct the most complex system problems.
• Inspect and identify faulty components on circuit card assemblies.
• Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures to component level.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams to aid troubleshooting.
• Perform solder rework on SMT components as needed.
• Document test results and repair actions accurately.
• Assist others in testing and troubleshooting systems and boards.
• Facilitate production by testing proprietary systems and sub-assemblies.
