Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Electronics Technician to support SRCTec Depot operations in Syracuse, NY. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies, and components, including RF and digital processing elements.

The role requires an Associate degree in electronics technology and 3+ years in related electronics. You will work with a range of test equipment and documentation practices, with a 10% shift differential for

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics technology or related field with 3+ years of related electronics experience
• Experience in electronics testing/manufacturing environment
• Ability to set up and use commercial test equipment (DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, RF meters, oscilloscopes)
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Proficient in documenting test results and repair actions
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to test procedures and processes to support daily manufacturing
• Set up and operate automated and manual test equipment
• Diagnose and repair complex system problems
• Inspect and identify faulty components on circuit cards
• Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures to component level
• Read schematics and drawings to aid troubleshooting
• Perform solder rework of surface-mounted components
• Document test results and repair actions
• Support testing of proprietary systems and sub-assemblies
