The Electronics Test Technician performs moderately complex testing, troubleshooting, and acceptance of production deliverable material on pre-production and development systems, infrared devices, circuit cards, final assemblies, and components.

Starting Wage: $26.50

3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am - Andover, Massachusetts

**Must be able to successfully pass a Technical interview**

What you will do:

  • Works with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.
  • Works to prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.
  • Utilizes diversified test and measurement equipment and supports multiple setups simultaneously.
  • May work under environmental extremes.
  • Acquires, transports, and sets up test equipment and test conditions.
  • Applies knowledge of electronic theory and diagnostics to isolate failures in both the unit under test and associated test equipment.
  • May perform rework, inspection, and re-inspection as required.
  • Transports equipment and materials as required.
  • Loads and unloads units under test using cranes, hoists, and lifts.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in proper operating condition.
  • Performs inspection of material utilizing test equipment and hand tools.
  • Fabricates special-purpose jigs, fixtures, and adapters.
  • Performs daily/weekly test station calibrations as required.
  • Tunes and pots RF modules.
  • Identifies deficiencies and suggests improvements.
  • Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace.
  • Maintains records and follows safety rules.
  • Performs other similar duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 - 2 years of specialized electronics education OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
