Job summary

Unigen is seeking a Test Operator II for swing shift at the Newark, CA site. You will set up and run tests on electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, document results, and support continuous improvement in production.

You will inspect boards, record SPC data, train peers, and ensure all procedures are followed. This role requires basic manufacturing knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to stand an eight‑hour shift.

Qualifications

• Typically 2 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Basic manufacturing line knowledge and adherence to process.
• Company-provided training may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Test electronics assemblies, components, and systems per procedures.
• Inspect boards for quality and correct component placement.
• Record data for SPC and notify supervisors of failures or deviations.
• Support team with troubleshooting and cross-training.
