Job summary

Unigen in Newark, California, is seeking a Production Operator I for SMT (Day) to set up and operate automated SMT equipment, including screen printer, pick-and-place, reflow, and X-ray systems.

You will follow work instructions, monitor quality and efficiency, and support teammates while participating in cross-training. A 1+ year background in electronics manufacturing and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with SMT equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated SMT line/equipment (Screen Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow, X-Ray).
• Clean boards and load PCBs into equipment; load feeders and components.
• Monitor quality and efficiency, report discrepancies, and assist in cross-training.
