Job summary

Unigen is seeking a QC Inspector - AOI for the Newark, CA site to operate the AOI machine and perform quality inspections on assemblies. This onsite swing shift role reports to the Quality Engineering Manager and supports line operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years AOI experience, IPC-A-610 certification, a High School Diploma, and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/ISO 13485 and ESD standards; onsite benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating AOI equipment.
• High School Diploma.
• IPC-A-610 Certified.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 & ESD

Responsibilities

• Operate the AOI machine and support line operations.
• Perform AOI inspections for SMT paste and solder joint defects.
• Read drawings, BOMs, IPC-related documentation and load AOI programs.
• Assist engineers in data collection, and participate in 5S improvements.
