Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville. You will collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing engineers to develop test hardware and software, enabling production testing and ongoing process improvements.

The role requires experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, schematic capture tools, and the ability to troubleshoot complex assemblies. A U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in electronics or related field with 4–8 years of experience or MS with 2–6 years of experience.
• Experience with electronic assembly testing, including In‑circuit Testers.
• Proficiency with schematic capture tools (OrCAD/Altium).
• Experience developing test code in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Test Development: define requirements and develop test hardware/software with cross-functional teams.
• Production Support: deploy test hardware for production testing and coordinate with suppliers for hardware manufacturing.
• Test Implementation: develop and implement test software for production assemblies (LabVIEW/TestStand/Python).
• Test Execution: set up and operate manual/automated test equipment for functional, environmental, and life tests.
• Troubleshooting: identify and mitigate test readiness issues; troubleshoot assemblies to component level with standard test equipment.
• Analysis & Improvement: analyze test results and suggest improvements to test procedures and assembly processes.
• Documentation: use schematic capture tools and maintain manufacturing documents and work instructions.
• Product Variety: work on products for military and commercial customers.
