Job summary

Advantest America Inc. seeks an Electronics Test Technician / Test Equipment Operator to perform functional, electrical, and system testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.

You will operate automated and manual test equipment, document results, and support manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability. The role requires strong troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and experience with DMMs, ATE, and data acquisition systems.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/tech cert preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
• 2+ years in electronics testing, manufacturing, repair, or technician roles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with MES/ERP or quality tracking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, functional, and operational testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.
• Operate automated test stations and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow test procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
• Record results in MES or quality tracking systems; verify results against acceptance criteria.
• Troubleshoot failures and escalate to Engineering/Quality as needed.
• Support calibration, maintenance, and NPI activities.
