Job summary

Semtech is seeking a Test Technician to support ATE-based production and characterization testing of System Protection ICs. You will operate automated test equipment (Teradyne/Advantest) and maintain test hardware to ensure high-quality NPI milestones and reliable board qualification.

You will work closely with Test and Product Engineers to set up environments, execute test programs, log data, and escalate anomalies. Prior experience with ATE and PCB boards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics/related tech.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE and load/test programs.
• Familiarity with reliability and test data review is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate ATE platforms for final test of System Protection ICs.
• Set up test sockets and REL setups, perform verifications.
• Support NPI test bring-up and first silicon test runs with engineers.
• Collect and review test data; flag yield anomalies for engineers.
• Maintain test hardware, perform minor repairs and soldering as needed.
• Follow SOPs, maintain PM logs, and document test activity.
