Job summary

Advantest America is seeking an Electronics Test Technician / Test Equipment Operator to perform functional, electrical, and system-level testing of electronic assemblies and finished products. You will operate automated and manual test equipment, document results, and support manufacturing and engineering to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform electrical, functional, and operational testing.
• Accurate documentation of test results and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, functional, and operational testing of assemblies and finished products.
• Operate automated test stations, production test systems, and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow procedures, specs, and quality standards to verify performance.
• Record results in MES/databases and review logs for recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot failures and escalate complex problems to engineering/quality teams.
• Set up equipment, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance.
