Job summary

GE Aerospace in Idaho is seeking technicians to provide hands-on technical support for production and aftermarket repair of electronic and electro‑mechanical systems. You will set up and operate test equipment, troubleshoot using schematics, and ensure measurement instruments meet standards.

Occasional overtime may be required. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus a 2-year technical degree/certificate or equivalent training and at least 3 years of related job experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year technical degree/certificate or equivalent military training is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related electronics repair experience.
• Experience with DMM and Oscilloscope to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for production or aftermarket repair services on electronic and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate test equipment and conduct tests per procedures and documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment using schematics and system knowledge.
• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring instruments to standards.
• Perform repair and overhaul services for assigned technology.
