Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Engineering Test Technician to join our Grand Rapids lab. You will test, troubleshoot, repair, and validate aerospace electronics and test equipment, working with design engineers to confirm performance against drawings and specs.

The role requires strong soldering, debugging, and test-station experience, with collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality aerospace products.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equvalent experience in electrical engineering/electronics technology.
• 3–5 years in an engineering lab or avionics/test environment.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
• Hands-on soldering, rework, and board/CCA assembly/disassembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, diagnostic, and verification testing on electronics and CCAs.
• Troubleshoot analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits at multiple levels.
• Solder, desolder, assemble, disassemble, and repair electronic hardware and test equipment.
• Document test results and maintain calibration of equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to identify root causes and verify corrective actions.
