Job summary

GE Aerospace Bohemia seeks an Electronics Technician to test and troubleshoot electronics to the component level using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and Hi-Pot meters. You will interpret schematics, mentor teammates, and drive process improvements in a collaborative, self-directed team.

You should have a degree or certificate in electronics and hands-on manufacturing experience to contribute to innovative aviation technology. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and LEAN manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months) or 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field.
• PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period.
• Experience: 1-3 years manufacturing with relevant degree, or no experience with 4-year degree.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic products using specialized test equipment, down to component level.
• Mentor assemblers and new technicians, driving a culture of continuous learning.
• Interpret drawings/specifications and document quality feedback for process improvements.
• Work second shift: 4p-12:30a Sunday–Thursday.
