Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electronics Technician Maintenance for MARMC Code 287 to provide technical services for ship and land-based installations. The candidate will operate, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, onboard maintenance training, assessment, inspection, grooming, and calibration of MK 32 SVTT systems and interfaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years hands-on technician experience with SVTT systems.
• 3+ years engineering experience on Navy surface ships or related electronics.
• Ability to read and use technical publications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Active secret U.S. government clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, maintain, and revise system technical documentation.
• Coordinate MARMC technical assistance and assessment support processes.
• Write Technical Assistance Visit Reports (TAVRs), Material Assessment Forms (MAFs), and trip reports.
• Conduct oral debriefings to management and technical personnel.
