Job summary

RTX is seeking a technically skilled technician for ROTHR/MARCAP receiver site operation and maintenance in a U.S.-based, onsite role at Freer, TX. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. The role involves solving complex problems, testing, data collection, and collaboration with engineering staff.

The position is on a service contract with an hourly rate and associated health benefits. Prior experience with radar/electronic systems is preferred and driving record must be clean.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Graduate in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology or Military Technical School with required duration
• Experience using test equipment and systematic troubleshooting methods
• Clean motor vehicle driving record required for company vehicle use
• Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Perform systems level operation and monitoring of ROTHR/MARCAP receiver site equipment and maintenance
• Interpret manuals and plans; plan work sequence and select test equipment
• Collaborate with engineers; support testing, data collection and upgrades
• Follow guidance from supervisor and perform other duties as assigned
