Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the engineering team in our Newtown, PA lab. The role focuses on prototyping designs and conducting weather and pressure tests, with close collaboration to prototype units effectively.

Responsibilities include circuitry calibration, test specification development, and troubleshooting of instruments and systems. Onsite lab environment with structured 7 AM to 3:30 PM shifts and access to specialized test equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and assemblies.
• Develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems.
• Perform rework on assemblies and systems based on test results.
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
