Actalent is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the engineering team in our Newtown, PA lab. The role focuses on prototyping designs and conducting weather and pressure tests, with close collaboration to prototype units effectively.

Responsibilities include circuitry calibration, test specification development, and troubleshooting of instruments and systems. Onsite lab environment with structured 7 AM to 3:30 PM shifts and access to specialized test equipment.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.

Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to work in close partnership with our engineering team. This role involves prototyping engineering designs and conducting various tests, including weather and pressure testing. The technician will engage in technical simulations and collaborate closely with engineers to prototype units effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as needed based on testing results.
• Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Essential Skills

• Technician experience.
• Experience working closely with engineers in a digital environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in an engineering lab located in Newtown, PA. The lab features electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment to simulate space conditions. Lab attire is required, and the work shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves working with flight test instrumentation, including recorders designed to work with acquisition products and various types of sensors, in both commercial and military applications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
