Frontgrade Technologies in the United States seeks an Electronics Engineering Technician I to support design engineering through hands-on prototyping and testing with electronic and mechanical test equipment. You will set up equipment, keep records, and perform routine repairs, collaborating with the product development team.

The role involves verifying test equipment, assisting with installations, and recommending tools and fixtures while performing hands-on prototyping under supervision.

Qualifications

• No experience is required in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment
• Uses Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment
• Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for product development team
• Recommend tools, equipment and test fixture needs and support acquisition
• Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under direction of Design Engineering personnel
