Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician I/II in Huntsville, AL to support electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair in a controlled manufacturing environment.

The role covers PCB soldering, wiring harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies using meters and scopes, following ERP/MES documentation and IPC standards. Responsibilities include reading electrical schematics, performing IPC-compliant soldering, documenting test results, and supporting

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-4 years electronics assembly or repair experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics and follow controlled manufacturing/repair processes.
Basic soldering proficiency.
Basic understanding of ESD controls and safe handling practices.
Ability to document electrical testing and repair activities.
Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on PCBs and wiring harnesses.
Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment for testing and diagnosis.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions.
Document repair activities and test results in ERP/MES systems.
Support quality activities, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S and lean practices.
Escalate unfamiliar defects to senior technicians or supervisors.
