Job summary

Lynker Corporation is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II Lab to support the National Data Buoy Center. The role focuses on maintenance, testing and repair of marine electrical systems and data acquisition equipment, with emphasis on reliability and precision in harsh marine environments.

You will work in a lab setting using oscilloscopes, DVMs, and calibration tools, lead small teams, and follow schematics and procedures to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS Electronics or related field is required.
• 4+ years in maintenance, repair, test, and modification of marine electrical/electronics systems.
• Ability to read schematics and operate lab equipment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Electronic component level assembly, bench testing, diagnostics and repair of LRUs.
• Operate in electronics lab using bench testing equipment and test sets.
• Test and troubleshoot environmental monitoring sensors and data systems.
• Use oscilloscopes, DVMs, meters, generators, and calibration instruments.
• Follow procedures and drawings to ensure quality and timeliness.
