Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you work with project teams, other trades, and customers. Up to 25% travel, with a valid driver's license required and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent training.
• Military electronics training or comparable program highly preferred.
• Completion of an Electronics Technician program or electrical apprenticeship.
• Minimum 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance with multiple systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems.
• Execute site surveys, configure hardware/software, test systems, and provide customer support.
• Lead by example, mentor crew members, and ensure safety compliance per plans.
• Maintain documentation, tool inventory, and participate in quality reviews and meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams, other trades, and owners during commissioning.
