Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves installing, maintaining, and testing electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers, with opportunities to lead commissioning efforts and work with design teams. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, extensive electronics installation/maintenance experience, and familiarity with safety plans and project documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program.
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations,maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software; tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates with clients and team members.
• Leads commissioning efforts and participates in representing M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Ensures safety compliance and adheres to project safety plans.
