M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. The role focuses on on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential. The position requires hands-on field work, the ability to read drawings, perform grounding per NEC, and coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Ensure functionality and reliability of technologies; conduct site surveys and configure hardware/software.
• Interpret and analyze complete drawing packages for constructability and accuracy.
• Verify charges in timesheets and manage installation timelines.
• Maintain tool inventories and perform daily tool inspections.
