Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to support field operations in the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of electronics experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess constructability; plan field installations.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot electronics and IT equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and support security systems per NEC standards.
• Communicate with project teams and customers; ensure safety compliance.
