Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role requires 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Preferred certifications include IDS, CCTV, and access control, with safety adherence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Requires a valid driver’s license; possible use of company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with teams.
• Participate in safety planning and field surveys.
