Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis is seeking an Electronics Worker I (2nd shift) to support our Modernization and Sustainment site. This role focuses on assembling, disassembling, reworking, and repairing electronic assemblies to meet tight quality standards.

You will perform PCB, cable, and chassis assembly, soldering, testing, and documentation while adhering to IPC standards and safety procedures. A high school diploma and 2 years' electronic assembly experience are preferred, with the possibility of

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret process routings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Proficient in soldering and cable assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of electronic component identification and handling.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711, J-STD-001) is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and data collection for SPC.

Responsibilities

• Performs circuit card assembly, cable and harness assembly, chassis assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks per instructions.
• Follows detailed process routings and wiring diagrams during production.
• Solders components and performs touch-up on assemblies.
• Operates soldering, desoldering, pressing, shaping, winding, and component placement equipment.
• Prepares assemblies for inspection and testing.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety procedures.
