Job summary

V2X Inc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Electronics Worker I (1st shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site. You will perform PCB assembly, cable harness work, chassis integration, and related mechanical tasks, following detailed process routings and safety procedures.

Candidates should read wiring diagrams, solder both through-hole and surface-mount components, and assist with quality checks during assembly and testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years electronics assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Soldering proficiency for through-hole and surface mount.
• Familiarity with IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711, J-STD-001 preferred.
• Good eyesight, color vision, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions and routings.
• Solder, touch-up components on PCB assemblies.
• Operate soldering/desoldering and component placement equipment.
• Prepare assemblies for inspection and testing.
• Assist with conformal coating, potting, encapsulating as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
