Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis is hiring an Electronics Worker I (1st shift) to support our Modernization and Sustainment site. You will perform the assembly, disassembly, rework and repair of electronic assemblies.

Key tasks include PCB assembly, cable/harness work, chassis assembly, and soldering, following documented routings and quality standards. A high school diploma and 2 years of electronic experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret process routings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Proficient in soldering and cable assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of electronic component identification and handling.
• Familiarity with IPC standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows detailed written and verbal instructions, process routings, wiring diagrams, and production planning documents.
• Performs board and component preparation, soldering, and touch-up.
• Operates machines for soldering, desoldering, pressing, shaping, winding, and placing components.
• Conducts in-process self-checks and prepares assemblies for testing.
• May assist with conformal coating, potting, encapsulating, and other intermediate assembly tasks.
