Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, Indiana is hiring an Electronics Worker I for the 1st shift to support the modernization and sustainment site. You will assemble, disassemble, rework, and repair electronic components, PCB assemblies, cables, and chassis while following detailed instructions and safety procedures.

The role requires soldering expertise, IPC standards familiarity, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret process routings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Proficient in soldering and cable assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of electronic component identification and handling.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly, disassembly, rework, and repair of electronic assemblies (PCBs, cables, chassis).
• Solders components, wires, and harnesses; performs touch-up and inspection prep.
• Operates soldering/placement machinery and follows process routings.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows procedures.
• Assists with conformal coating, potting, encapsulation, and other assembly tasks as needed.
• Supports in-process checks and prepares for formal inspection and testing.
