Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to support our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security services including intrusion, access control, biometric authentication, and video surveillance for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in electronics installation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work safely.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security equipment on site, including intrusion detection and access control.
• Perform on-site installations, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems.
• Ensure proper grounding, NEC compliance, and system integrity.
• Document daily tasks and progress using Infralink and other project tools.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to meet safety and quality standards.
