Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves on-site installations, maintenance, and integration of electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial clients in a high-growth market. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electronics installation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronics and IT equipment.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
• Coordinate with project teams and adhere to safety plans and policies.
• Inspect tools and equipment; participate in daily ORM meetings and PITCO plan activities.
• Ensure proper grounding, cable terminations, and compliance with NEC standards.
