Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Technician (2nd Shift) in Buffalo, NY, to support Amherst Systems. The role involves testing RF and digital circuitry, diagnosing issues, and maintaining test equipment in a 9/80 schedule facility with strong safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities include RF tuning under a microscope, reading schematics, performing maintenance, and documenting actions in travelers and quality records, with opportunities to grow in a defense electronics

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Electronics knowledge gained through schooling, the military or work experience.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow procedures and drawings.
Ability to work in a team environment.
US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF microelectronic, RF amplifiers, switches, mixers, etc.
Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards.
Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions.
Diagnose non-conformances using schematics and test procedures.
Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope.
Record and ensure validity of data in test systems.
Follow safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors on test procedures.
