Job summary

North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-focused technician to perform basic component level troubleshooting and testing across several product lines at our Long Island site.

You will work under supervision, using electronic measuring equipment to ensure quality and reliability. Responsibilities include ESS/vibration testing, failure analysis, trend identification, and collaboration with engineering on new product builds.

Qualifications

2+ years professional experience in engineering/production environment.
Associates degree preferred.
U.S. Person status required (citizen or Green Card).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and test multiple product lines at component level.
Operate electronic measuring equipment and document results.

Summary:

Under supervision, performs basic component level troubleshooting and testing of multiple product lines.

Requirements

Basic component level troubleshooting.
Basic usage/ knowledge of electronic measuring equipment.
Perform ESS/Vibration Testing.
Provide failure analysis and identify trends.
Ability to multitask and cross-train on multiple product lines.
Maintain product workflow and suggest process improvements.
Interface with engineering on new product builds.
Empowered to make decisions and actions regarding their product line.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

2+ years professional experience in engineering/production environment.
Associates degree preferred.
Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Please note that some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Timely completion of work assignments which includes troubleshooting and repair of product, in a fast- paced work environment.
