Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking an experienced technician to perform moderate component level troubleshooting and testing across multiple product lines. Work is performed under minimal supervision with collaboration to support new product builds.

The role emphasizes identifying failure trends, performing analyses, and maintaining efficient workflows, while cross-training to cover various lines. US persons only; full-time, on-site position in New York area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional experience in engineering/production environment.
• Associates degree preferred.
• U.S. Person status with ability to provide documentation; citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and test multiple product lines at the component level.
• Interface with engineering on new product builds.
• Identify failure trends and perform failure analysis.

Summary

Under minimum supervision, performs moderate component level troubleshooting and testing of multiple product lines.

Requirements

• Moderate component level troubleshooting.
• Moderate usage/ knowledge of electronic measuring equipment.
• Perform ESS/Vibration Testing.
• Provide failure analysis and identify trends.
• Ability to multitask and cross-train on multiple product lines.
• Maintain product workflow and suggest process improvements.
• Interface with engineering on new product builds.
• Empowered to make decisions and actions regarding their product line.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• 2+ years professional experience in engineering/production environment.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Please note that some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.

Preferred Skills And Abilities

• Timely completion of work assignments which includes troubleshooting and repair of product, in a fast- paced work environment.
