We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electronic security systems, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management.
- Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Document daily toolbox talks, ORM, and safety audits.
- Install and maintain equipment locally and globally according to design packages.
- Program and install head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues locally and globally.
- Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory, create take-off project drawings, document and track RFIs, and provide design feedback.
- Create and manage project schedules, integrate IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, forecast and manage labor hours, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Guide and mentor technicians.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
- High school diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, plus at least three years of electronics installation and maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience, with at least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; willingness to travel 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with systems like DMP, Axis, Genetec, Cisco, Windows, etc.
