THE HIGH LEVEL

As a Mac Support Technician, you will provide remote technical support for macOS, iOS, and Windows systems through email, chat, and phone. You’ll handle system configuration, software installation, troubleshooting, and end-user support with a focus on Apple devices. This role involves resolving technical issues, performing system cleanups, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and user-friendly IT support in a fully remote environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver remote technical support to end users via email, chat, and phone for macOS and Windows systems, along with related applications.
  • Configure, image, support, and troubleshoot Apple macOS, iOS, and Microsoft Windows operating systems; provide guidance on system usage and functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using remote access tools and communication platforms.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive across Mac and Windows environments.

What You Bring To The Table

  • You have an Associates degree and over 3 years of hands-on experience with macOS, from version 10.10 to the current release, as well as iOS 11.x.x and newer.
  • You possess at least 3 years of experience troubleshooting end-user hardware, peripherals, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
  • You have demonstrated proficiency with Mac systems and hands-on experience with JAMF for device management and support.
  • You possess a broad understanding of technology, including hardware, software, and IT service concepts, enabling you to effectively support users across varying technical skill levels and create clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of enterprise IT environments, particularly in working with peripherals such as printers and monitors and are familiar with iPhone models 13 and above.

Travel Requirements

  • No travel is expected for this position, and it will be 100% remote.
