Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, seeks an Electronics Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain complex electronic systems on machinery and test equipment, following schematics and manuals.

You will use oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, tachometers and related test gear, build testing apparatus, and perform calculations for circuit loads. Some training on 1st/2nd shift may occur.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years trades training in electronics.
• Knowledge of national electric codes and safety procedures is required.
• Certification for power industrial truck and respirator is preferred; license for over‑the‑road vehicles may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, modify and perform preventive maintenance on complex electronic systems.
• Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and manuals to repair factory equipment.
• Use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, tachometers) and build apparatus as needed.
• Instruct 1–2 coworkers and collaborate with maintenance and technical teams.
