Saab AB in the United States is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to drive strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and international sites. You will develop category strategies and manage supplier evaluations, spend analysis, and risk opportunities to strengthen cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.

The role requires a BA/BS in supply chain or engineering, 8+ years (6+ with a Master’s), strong financial and electronics expertise, and ERP system

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Proven leadership and presentation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier selection and contract activities for electronics commodities.
• Manage approved supplier lists and onboarding of critical suppliers.
• Perform spend analysis and lead cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to manage supplier performance.
• Collaborate with international Saab affiliates to determine future needs.
