Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and internationally as needed.

You will develop category strategies, evaluate suppliers, and manage spend analyses to drive cost reductions while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. This senior role requires 8+ years in Sourcing or 6+ years with a Master’s, with strong financial acumen and an electronics background.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS or 6+ years with a Master’s in Sourcing or Supply Chain is required.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and award for new suppliers across multiple business units.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win business process by identifying and onboarding critical suppliers.
• Perform spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and lead initiatives.
• Lead quarterly business reviews for critical suppliers to manage performance.
• Collaborate to develop supplier evaluation and data-driven scoring systems.
