Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Supplier Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril Imaging's electronics across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams including engineering, quality and manufacturing.

You will manage BOMs, assess component risk, source alternates, and expand our approved supplier list while ensuring AS9100 compliance and timely data transmission in PLM/ERP systems. A US secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or electronics design.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel 10–25% of the time for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and managing/expanding our approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for any and all production electronics builds.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team & resources to streamline Anduril Imaging's PCBA procurement processes.
