The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to set up and maintain production lines for repairing and upgrading complex electronic products. You will support technicians in diagnosing and repairing systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

Responsibilities include designing test fixtures, troubleshooting failures, collecting data, and mentoring staff. A bachelor’s degree in EE or equivalent experience is required, with preference for electronics manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with design or manufacturing of microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience developing automated test systems preferred.
• Component-level troubleshooting and repair experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with switching power supplies preferred.
• Ability to design, construct, and maintain test fixtures and test systems for MCU-based products.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level using schematics and test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic products.
• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems.
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned products.
• Collect repair data and maintain repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development teams regarding design corrections and enhancements.
• Assist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety standards.
• Mentor technicians in troubleshooting and repair.
• Provide technical guidance to operations and repair staff.
