Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair strongly preferred.
• Experience with designing or manufacturing microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products.
• Experience developing automated test systems is preferred but not required.
• Experience with component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic products is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with switching power supplies is preferred but not required.
• Ability to design, construct, and maintain test fixtures and test systems for microcontroller-based products.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level using schematics and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic products.
• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems.
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronics.
• Collect repair data and maintain accurate repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development teams on design corrections and recurring failure trends.
• Assist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety and quality standards.
• Mentor operators and technicians in troubleshooting and repair workflows.
• Support technicians in diagnosing and repairing electronic products.
