Job summary

Power Probe Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, rework, and retest electronic units failing in-process or final inspection. You will document failure causes, repair actions, and retest results to support defect analysis and continuous improvement.

You will follow ESD controls, use soldering and diagnostic tools, and ensure repairs meet first-pass quality. A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical electronics training preferred.
• Experience repairing, troubleshooting, testing, or reworking electronic products.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
• Strong documentation of repair actions and test results.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electronics that fail in-process to determine cause and repair action.
• Perform approved repair and rework per procedures and workmanship standards.
• Retest repaired units and verify functionality before production release.
• Document failure symptoms, root causes, repair actions, and results for quality tracking.
• Follow ESD protection and safety requirements during repair activities.
